Death
Amelia Daigle Verret
(November 2, 1932 - April 21, 2012)
The purpose of this blog is to help the Carline/Carlin descendants to form a community in order for us to learn more about our family, past and present. We look forward to reading your comments, suggestions and anything else you might wish to write about. News about your branch of the family would be great since for some of us, we've moved away and haven't had contact through the years.

Only ten people made a choice on the health question so it is hard to get a true percentage of what diseases might be inherited.

If you want more information please read Judy Riffle's book on the subject. The St. Jean Louis Cemetery is listed in an earlier comment under the 'Bayou Chene' post. I will try to post another one under the comment section of this post tomorrow.

Our oldest living Carline relative is Ivory Carlin. On July 23rd he will be 96 years of age. Don't forget to send him a card.
We all want to learn more about our family so I thought one way to do that in an unusual way was to add polls to the blog. If anyone would like to know something in particular just put it in the comment section or send me an email and I'll post it. In a couple of weeks I'll reveal the correct answer.

We are going to have a section called Bayou Chene since our roots are there. Some of you may have memories about being there but I personally have never been there. Any thing anyone has to say will be of great interest.
