Results of Post #4

Only ten people made a choice on the health question so it is hard to get a true percentage of what diseases might be inherited.

1. Leukemia (2)
2. Lupus (2)
3. Diabetes (3)
4. Arthritis (3)
5. Thyroid (2)
6. Sjorgens syndrome (1)
7. Degenerative disk disease (1)
8. interconnective tissue disease (1)

Some folks have more than one disease.

Poll #4 The Carlines and Their Health

Please make comments about your particular health problem. That will definitely help us to narrow this down a little.

It seems many of the Carline family suffer from autoimmune diseases so we would like to see how many of us have them. No one will know that you particapted. If you or anyone you know have or has had one please check the appropiate box. I'll not list them all but a few are: lupus, diabetes,Sjogren's syndrome, Guillain-Barr, Multiple Sclerosis, Addison's disease. We'd like to see if there is a trait that causes us to be more likely to acquire these diseases. This may help futher generations.

Poll #3 - Who is the oldest living Carline relative?

We all want to learn more about our family so I thought one way to do that in an unusual way was to add polls to the blog. If anyone would like to know something in particular just put it in the comment section or send me an email and I'll post it. In a couple of weeks I'll reveal the correct answer.

Bayou Chene

We are going to have a section called Bayou Chene since our roots are there. Some of you may have memories about being there but I personally have never been there. Any thing anyone has to say will be of great interest.

Here are a few Carline entries...
